I bought this for my elderly mother as she was starting to worry about falling and no one being around to known. One day I had just arrived at friend when the watch called me. Mum had fallen and couldn't get up. I managed to get there whilst calling an ambulance on the way and she was taken to the hospital. It had been a serious fall and if it had not contacted me she would not have got to hospital without further complications. To me it is worth its weight in gold.

We purchased the Guardian II for our daughter, Aoise for Christmas. Aoise suffers from epilepsy and would have a seizures quiet a few times annually. Last week she felt a seizure coming on and was able to press the SOS button. The watch called my son who alerted my wife (who was in the garden and not by her phone). It is fantastic to know she has time to press the SOS button and alert us. It's also great that the watch will keep dialling her contacts until someone answers. The watch has paid for itself already. As regards the watch it's very discreet for a teenager. We found CPR to be most helpful with regards any queries we had. Excellent service . Highly recommend them.

We had a client in the community who had lost his wife in the last year. He had become withdrawn as due to a recent fall, his family were keen for him to stay at home where there was standard Telecare equipment to keep him safe, during the day. He had expressed that he wished to leave the house more often so social care contacted up to see if there was a solution. We visited and spoke to the gentleman and his family. All agreed that the Guardian would be of benefit to the gentleman.

After giving the gentleman the watch he started o go out on his own everyday. His family were able to access the cite at anytime to see where he was and he had the reassurance that he could press the button on the watch if he needed help.

The watch gave the family the re-assurance that they wanted and allowed the gentlemen to lead the life that he wanted to which included visiting the grave of his late wife each day.

As an installer of assistive technology for the past 7/8 years I have come across many different GPS Tracking devices, all with varying benefits and some with a lot of disadvantages.

The CPR Guardian 3 has been a breath of fresh air with not only its aesthetics but also its usability. It is extremely comfortable to wear, having tested it myself before installing it out in the field with a test client. Its well designed and wouldn't look out of place against some of the top end smartwatches, fit bits.

Functionality is perfect for what I needed, real time GPS tracking, multiple geo fences and fall detection with then the added benefit of Realtime Heart rate/Skin temp monitoring, call feature and easy to use SOS button. Compared to some other devices tested, battery life which is one of the most important features is good and different features can be turned on or off to extend this.

The App is user friendly for those monitoring the device, easy to set up, easy to make changes to suit and works well to find out quickly and easily happening with the loved one wearing the watch.

The CPR Guardian team are extremely helpful and have always been on the end of the phone to troubleshoot any little problems which have occurred. They will guide you through the set up process if required and make sure everything is working perfectly before leaving the client with the device.

Overall, I would highly recommend the CPR Guardian 3 and believe it is one of the best GPS watches I’ve had the pleasure to test and install and I look forward to installing more of these brilliant watches in the future.

Phil works in our Stores Department and is often working on his own and uses potentially dangerous equipment like forklift trucks. Recently Phil had a seizure at work and was found unconscious by one of his colleagues. Phil is undergoing tests to find out the cause and has had several more seizures in the meantime. 

Due to the nature of Phil’s job he was signed off work until the seizures were under control as there was a real risk he could have a seizure and not be found for some time. Phil was desperate to get back to work so a risk assessment was carried out and it was decided he could return to work if we could source a piece of equipment that he could use to call for help if he felt unwell and would automatically raise the alarm if he had a seizure.

We initially sourced an alarm that connected to Phil’s mobile phone via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, due to the construction of the stores building there are areas with very poor mobile reception. This resulted in the alarm not working when Phil had another seizure at work.

At this point I discovered the Guardian III Watch alarm. It looked to be the exact thing we were looking for. I liked the fact it could be set to call our own alarm receiving centre and it used a roaming SIM card so could connect to different mobile networks depending on signal strenth. I also liked the fact that there was an audible alarm so there was a good chance someone else in the building would be able to hear if Phil needed help.

I took a watch to our stores and made several test calls from different parts of the building and was very pleased to find it managed to put a test call though every time even when my own mobile phone was showing no signal. Based on this our Health and Safety department were happy for Phil to return to work.

Phil has been getting on very well with the Guardian III Watch. He has been impressed with the size and weight of the device. The battery life has been very good, and he has no issues getting though the full day with plenty of battery left. He tests the alarm regularly and it has never failed to put a call though.

One added bonus has been the heart rate monitor on the device. The hospital has suggested his seizures may be linked to changes in his heart rate, so the ability to monitor his heart rate has been very useful for Phil. He has installed the app on his phone so he can record his heart rate and we have set the device to check his heart rate every 5 minutes.

Phil has been so pleased with the alarm he now wears it out of work as well as he feels it keeps him safe. This proved invaluable when I fell in my bedroom and my husband was outside in the garden.The watch alerted him to come to my aid,and what could have been very upsetting for me was sorted when he appeared almost immediately and managed to help me to my feet again. Think this is the best purchase he has made on my behalf.
