I bought my Guardian II watch from CPR Global of Swansea in August this year. They assisted me over the phone to set the watch. I have found it a very good purchase. The staff at CPR are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I would have no qualms in recommending them. They treat you like human beings. I give them five stars.

My mother has dementia and can still live on her own. I got this watch so I could track her location and to provide an alarm service if she needs to get hold of me when confused or lost. It has given great peace of mind. Also Chelsea Davies in the sales and marketing team was very helpful in helping get things set up.

WiFi Tracking is best utilised best with the ‘Find My Device’ Function:
The WiFi Tracking will give you the area to focus your search and then pressing the ‘Find my Device’ function on the app or portal will sound a siren on the watch helping you home in on the devices real location.
There will be times when there is no GPS signal available and rather than leaving you blind, we have integrated WiFi Access Point Tracking to the Guardian III. This is where the device searches for three WiFi Access points within its surroundings to triangulate a position. As there will be many WiFi points around with varying strength, it is impossible to provide a truly accurate location when GPS is not available.
For you to know:
WiFi tracking should not be used for ‘pin point’ location tracking but as a starting or focal point for search.
Signal didn't work ..tried 2 days in a row to get signal change but person in charge out sick. Need to know how to return watch
I’ve only had this watch a few days. I had a small problem with locating a number during set up which the ‘chat’ sorted out for me very quickly. A few days later my watch went offline. Again the ‘chat’ facility sorted the problem for me within a few minutes. Thus far very impressed with the watch and customer service.
This is just what we've been looking for. The only downside is the battery life will "just about" last 2 days. This is a minor downside due to the device being a small-ish watch. Also the GPS location doesn't seem to work on the app. My wife is always home so this doesn't matter. The app otherwise works well. I can see how many steps my wife has taken, her heart rate, and body temperature.
The continental sounding siren is reassuring for the person who has fallen so they definitely know they have pressed the red emergency button. This then sends a text/s followed by a phone call/s to numbers of your choice. You can then speak to the injured party through the watch and reassure them help is on the way. So far, so good.
I spent over an hour talking to the sales team prior to buying this watch in order to make sure this would be the right product for my 83 year old father who suffers from dementia. And yet despite having reasonably strong signal (3 bars) with our mobile phones the watch would not latch onto the network. We made 4 calls to the technical support team, explaining over 20 times (the technicians English was limited) what was going on and yet no solution was found. The watch was returned last week and despite paying for a year’s sim contract up front and the watch, totalling nearly £300 we are still waiting for a refund.
Hugely disappointed as we genuinely thought this would be a good product for our father.
Sorry Watch doesn't stay on and show in am/pm format. It requires my wife to press buttons for these functions and switches off to preserve power. I did not anticipate these problems and therefore found that I had to return the watch. One of your ladies said that she would try to find out if these problems could be overcome and I would be pleased to accept a modified version if this can be done.
Sorry about not being able to accept this version. Donald Boyd p.o.a. for Margaret Dunbar.
Just a few points to help
I bought watch for me elderly mother. She has recently stopped driving and she was walking great distances from town centre to home as her phone would run out of charge. I thought the watch would help track her location and allow us to call her. The main problems i have had is that the watch needs charged once a day and i have to remind my father to do this for my mother. Secondly, he has found it difficult to connect the charge properly. Thirdly, sometimes the location is incorrect. Fourthly, it is too difficult for my mum to understand how to call someone. Hope this helps. Apart from above we are hopeful that it will benefit us. Thanks.
Even though it says that the watch calls the SOS numbers, it DOES NOT. Sends a text message to some numbers not based on priority
Very unreliable. Sometimes will not update for days. Was bought for a person who has dementia and loves walking. The anxiety it causes when they cannot be tracked is terrible.
My mother has had a CPR Guardian watch since 2019. It brings her peace of mind, particularly at night, to know that she has an emergency button that will call me. The watch is relatively simple for her to use. It brings me peace of mind to know that I can call her but also see that she is on the move every morning. Above all, it is the availability of genuinely helpful technical support that makes this watch a real game-changer.
Got my mums 1st cpr guardian watch in 2013 following her stroke and updated to a newer model in 2019/20. My mum is happy to wear the watch has in its own right its a stylish watch but also gives us her family peace of mind that she also has the emergency button if she needs it. We also know she is up and about via the step counter which is a way we knew she is ok without having to ring her which again which again allows mum independence and us peace of mind. If I have had any issues customer/technical services are only a phone call away and solve issues on the phone if possible but if not i just send the watch to them in a postage paid envelope and it is always returned in a few days (always less than a week). We can also ring the watch if my mum is not answering her landline phone usually when she is sat in the garden. I can highley recommend this product for people who are trying to keep has independent has possible while their family want peace of mind that they are safe
