Emerging Fall Detection Feature : How Does it Work?
The CPR Guardian IV includes an evolving fall detection system, currently in its early access phase. Users can enable this feature to assist in detecting falls; however, please be aware that it may occasionally trigger false alarms or miss a fall event. Additionally, activating fall detection will decrease battery life to 12 hours or less and the watch will require daily charging. We are continuously refining this feature and welcome user feedback to enhance its reliability.

The CPR Guardian IV tracks significant movement changes that may indicate a fall, offering an additional layer of security for the wearer. With adjustable sensitivity settings, users can fine-tune detection levels to enhance accuracy while reducing false alarms. This feature will decrease battery life to 12 hours or less. -
If a fall is detected, the watch prompts the wearer to confirm if they are okay. If there is no response or they indicate they need help, the CPR Guardian IV automatically notifies up to five pre-set emergency contacts via SMS and app notification. It then initiates a voice call sequence until answered, ensuring that assistance is provided as quickly as possible.

The watch will also share the wearer's GPS location with carers via the smartphone app, ensuring quick assistance when needed.
Note: While Fall Detection enhances safety, it will decrease battery life to 12 hours or less and will require daily charging. Fall Detection is not a guaranteed feature and should not replace medical care. If possible, users should always press the SOS button in an emergency.
