We had a fantastic morning last week when we welcomed Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant, D. Byron Lewis to our offices for the official presentation of our 2018 Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
We were recently chosen as one of just 12 recipients of the award in Wales and 230 in the UK and were selected in the ‘International Trade’ category for our outstanding growth in overseas markets over the last three years.
HM Lord Lieutenant spent time at our office and spoke with all of our staff members on site as well as with key stakeholders from Swansea University, Swansea Council and Ofcom Wales, who were also in attendance for the presentation.
During his visit, the Lord Lieutenant spoke about the magnitude of our achievement and said: “You are setting the gold standard within your industry and after meeting you all it’s clear to see that it is a strong tea effort at CPR, built by exceptional leadership.
“The Queen’s Award is internationally recognised as a symbol of excellence and success and I offer my warmest congratulations on your outstanding achievement.”
It was an honour to host HM Lord Lieutenant and he has inspired us to continue our good work and strive to protect individuals from scam and nuisance calls.
